
Who wouldn't want to have beautiful, clean, and healthy skin? We all aspire to have beautiful, clean, and healthy skin. But what happens if we frequently stay up late? It turns out that having beautiful, clean, and healthy skin is strongly related to the quality of our sleep!
A research journal called Clinical and Experimental Dermatology found that people who sleep for 7 to 9 hours at night have more moisturized skin and better ability to regenerate their skin after exposure to UV (ultraviolet) rays compared to those who only sleep for 5 hours or less. Moreover, The Journal Sleep compared the skin quality of people who sleep for 8 hours with those who only sleep for 5 hours. The results showed that individuals who get 8 hours of sleep are slower to experience premature aging, such as wrinkles and under-eye bags. On the other hand, people with inadequate sleep are more prone to developing wrinkles at a faster rate.
So, besides the skincare products you use, don't forget to prioritize your sleep schedule!
